King's day, so lots of flags (and orange). First stop location full. Moved on to Middelburg for jousting and dinner of Belgian sausage

Minor re-route as we were too heavy for a tunnel. Filled up at petrol station + Lidl then headed to the Netherlands

Drove to Antwerp. Appreciated 80 year old wooden escalator and pedestrian tunnel. Tempted by sewer tours. Enjoyed slides near parking spot

Chilled morning, wrote postcards, then pootled to a new stop, 4 miles away. Had a wander in the village then a chilled afternoon / evening

Trundled in the hot sunshine to a little village and stopped by a dyke. K went for a walk, we did our internet "todo" list, then scrabble

LPG top up, then walk into (and around) Ghent. Watched great graffiti artists and appreciated chilled city. Beer tasting in evening

Forgot it was a public holiday; quest for LPG and food a little difficult on journey to Ghent. Adventure playground near aire!

He is risen! Easter story and mini eggs before wander in city. Scrabble and simnel cake before service at English church in evening

Hello Bruges! Busy, but beautiful city, which we enjoyed wandering around, with a side order of chocolate, chips and beer!
