Vignettes are mandatory and are available to buy at the border, most petrol stations and offices of the CI and DZI Bank. You can buy them for periods of a week, a month or a year

Speed limits on motorways are 130 kph, 90kph on main roads and 50 kph in built up areas. The maximum speed you should drive with snow chains is 50 kph.
